(For the entire month of February I am photographing my children each day. This is a personal project dear to my heart. Thank you for stopping by!)
Her skin is perfect, untouched, unblemished while her mama’s skin suffers the effects of teenage years spent in the sun…wrinkles already appearing. Her eyes see without aid, perfect little windows into the world while her mama’s are slowly deteriorating, unable to read, write or see her face across the room without help. Her hair has never been cut besides a healthy trim or two while her mama’s has undergone so many different personalities. She is always well rested while her mama is always in need of a nap. Her tummy is always full while over the busyness of the day her mama forgets to eat. It is called sacrifice. It is called love. She is so beautiful. We are beautiful.
