I can honestly say 2016 was a great year for our family. Nothing amazing happened, it was just full of family time, road trips, adventures and rest. I really pray 2017 is much of the same!
Very quickly I compiled a few of my favorite big camera photos of 2016. If you’d like to see some of my most favorite iPhone snaps, then head over to my Instagram :)
I hope you have a great new year!

At a photo session with me, please don’t care if kids get wet or get upset or need to eat or have a diaper change. Wade in the creek, wrap your babies up in towels, laugh with your best friend and roll your eyes at how life never stops being a little bit chaotic and can’t be put on hold for photographs. Watch me get in the water with your kids, excuse how exhausted I look at the end of the session because I will have photographed my little heart out and have laughed immensely in the process.

Don’t worry about what might happen and just enjoy what will happen during our session. A whole lot of hugs, closeness, messiness and maybe a little crazy…but then…that just might mean it will be the most honest session you’ve ever had and those photos will become your most priceless possessions.
